McLean Delmo Bentleys nominated at prestigious Australian Accounting Awards
Now in its third consecutive year, the Australian Accounting Awards, which covers 24 categories, recognises individual excellence in accounting.
Bentleys has been named a finalist in the following categories:
Group Awards:Mclean Delmo Bentleys – Fastest Growing Firm of the Year (John Delmo, Managing Partner is pictured at left)
Bentleys Australia and New Zealand – Firm of the Year (<$1bn in revenue)
Matthew Allan, Bentleys Queensland and University of Queensland – Accounting Student of the Year
Mark Chapman, chief executive officer, Bentleys Australia and New Zealand said the award nominations, in particular the nomination in the Firm of the Year category, are an affirmation of the network’s high standards and the value it delivers to its clients and members alike.
“The Australian Accounting Awards represent quality and excellence; values that underpin Bentleys’ approach with all our clients. Becoming finalists is testament our business is going from strength to strength, due largely to the passion and integrity our team brings to their clients each and every day across our entire network.
“Being nominated for three different categories is extremely rewarding and is a reflection of the relaxed but professional culture and open collaboration we foster between our 19 offices across Australia and New Zealand. Our network is growing and evolving but one thing remains the same, our focus is on our clients and helping them achieve what is most important to them,” Mr Chapman added.
This is the second time McLean Delmo Bentleys has received an award nomination, they were also short listed as a finalist in the Financial Review Client Choice Awards in 2015. It is also the second time Bentleys has had a representative in the Accounting Student of the Year category.
The winners will be announced at the gala awards dinner on Friday 14 October in Sydney.
